I can’t remember a time I didn’t have at least one dog in my life, often two or more. I love all animals and am concerned for their wellbeing. This is why I decided to train in the art of dog grooming.
I pursued my passion for dogs under the skilled guidance of Christine Speerin (International Certified Master Groomer | Grooming Judge for International Judges Association and European Grooming Assn). I have known Christine for over 15 years. I met Christine in 2000 when I needed my toy and mini poodle groomed. She has been an encouraging figure and good friend.
My salon in Dora Creek, Lake Macquarie. It’s on a two acre block surrounded by beautiful bushland. The grooming salon is set up as a secure, happy and safe environment.
Bookings are essential. My hours are Saturdays, and Sundays, plus Thursday evenings. I only take maximum of two dogs at a time so that they are not caged and stressed by other dogs. They are free to move about the salon in a safe environment.
The wellbeing of the dogs is a major priority and I work to find the best solution to their needs because all dogs have fears, such as, they may not like to be touched on their feet. My aim is to ensure a good experience where the dog and owner are happy to return.
